Fog machine causes fire alarms to sound during hall decorations

At approximately 9:15 p.m., Oct. 8, the fire alarms were set off by a fog machine that was planned to be used in the senior hall decorations for Homecoming Week.

The Metro-West Fire Department responded with two fire trucks and a police unit. The alarms caused the fire doors at the entrance to each hallway to shut, which damaged some of the decorations. Luckily, most of the damages were repaired by students present at the time of the alarm earlier the next morning in time for the judging.

Hall Dec winners will be announced at the pep assembly in Friday, Oct. 11.
