In honor of National Pancake Day, IHOP restaurants around the country will be giving away free pancakes for all its customers Tuesday, Feb. 28.
The event will take place from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Although the day is to celebrate free pancakes, customers are encouraged to donate to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
IHOP has been supporting the charity for this holiday every year and has donated $8 million since 2006. This year, IHOP has set a goal of $2.7 million in donations.
“I would be willing to donate to charity so I could have some free pancakes,” freshman Cameron Grant said.
Freshmen Connor Stephens and Erin Nichwitz agreed that it was a good idea.
“You get to help out a charity and eat pancakes at the same time,” Nichwitz said.
There are IHOP restaurants located in the Valley and on Manchester Road.
