Humans of Lafayette: Alex Cassell
“I started painting my nails in middle school, but I began doing more elaborate designs when I was in high school. Half of the time I paint them because I’m bored; other times because I feel like doing something different. It’s fun to try new things and be creative. Pinterest is my inspiration. I’ll see a cute design and try to recreate it. I’ve thought about doing people’s nails [for money]; I’ve done my friends nails, but I just do it for fun. It usually takes a long time to do my nails, so after I create a cute design on them I feel really accomplished.” – Alex Cassell, 12

[Families] actually having the opportunity to have their kids on the field with us is the most important aspect,” Ben Lundt said.](https://lancerfeed.press/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/IMG_6823-1200x800.jpg)
