Blueberry Hill: worth the wait

An overview of a St. Louis landmark restaurant with great history and great food

Joshua Waitsman, Sports Reporter

Located at 6504 Delmar in The Loop, Blueberry Hill is worth the drive and worth the wait. Once at the restaurant you immediately notice the 1970’s theme, as they opened in 1972. Though there are no televisions, there are plenty of things hanging on the walls to keep you interested; I have been there dozens of times and I always find something new to look at. The walls are filled all sorts of St. Louis memorabilia, mostly music related, anywhere from Chuck Berry all the way to Nelly. Regardless of what you are into you can find something you like.

Once I had ordered it took about thirty-five minutes to get my food, but is what well worth the wait. The food is reasonably priced at $6 and the quality of the food is always at its peak, as I have been there dozens of times and have never come out disappointed.  If anyone wants to try out Blueberry Hill, I would especially recommend the burgers or french onion soup; they regularly please.

If you go to Blueberry Hill, you will find a restaurant with a rich history and will definitely find yourself coming back.
