The Jewish Student Union (JSU) is made for those who wish to learn about the customs and practices of Judaism.
Those attending the club receive a new insight for the Jewish religion as well as the people who practice it. JSU is a great opportunity to receive a more personal relation to the religion than just listening to a lecture in a classroom.
Every meeting there is a Rabbi who takes time out of his day to share his knowledge about the religion. In no way is he there to sway anybody, just to offer information about the Jewish religion.
You don’t have to be Jewish to attend the meetings either.
“Anybody is welcome to attend,” said JSU sponsor Vince DeBlasi. “In fact, I think there are more students who are not Jewish than Jewish in the meetings.”
If you are interested in learning about the religion, and eat free pizza, then listen to the announcements to find out when the next JSU meeting is.
