Junior Madison Beirne lives the child’s dream. She doodles to the max.
Her drawings range from markers to pencils and everything in between. Her love for drawing started young and has developed over the years.
” I’ve been drawing ever since elementary school art class but once I hit about 4th Grade, I realized I had a love and talent for drawing and started taking it more seriously,” she said.
Her sketch pad is full of color, faces and sketches that display her wide range of talent and interests.
“People are usually my source of inspiration for drawing. I sometimes doodle or draw things I see outside but for the most part its all people,” she said.
Beirne has drawn famous rappers such as Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller. Using album covers and photography shoots as guidance, she draws what she sees.
“I draw people who inspire me or people who I feel have left an impact in the world or in their industry. I draw because its what I love and it helps me escape from the real world around me,” Beirne said.
This pastime of Beirne’s has become something to escape in.
“I think I paid attention in two of my classes today,” Beirne said on Wednesday.
When asked to describe her work in one word, Beirne answered with, “Reality.”
