It’s that time of year again- piling on layers of clothing to block the freezing winds, cozying up by the fire with warm hot chocolate and of course, winter activities.
Sledding, having snowball fights, building snowmen, making snow angels and ice skating on a frozen lake are only some of the beloved traditions of the holiday season. But, not enough snow has arrived and lakes aren’t frozen enough for skating, so Hardee’s Iceplex offers a fun and convenient alternative.
Located on 16851 North Outer Forty Dr., in the Chesterfield Valley, this multi-rink complex has everything from ice skating, hockey lessons and private rink time.
Hardees Iceplex has lessons in both figure skating and hockey for kids through adults. For the various teams this complex hosts, games are also held for anyone to come and enjoy.
However, the real jewel for the non-athletes is the public skate time, as well as the teen skate program. For $5 per person on weekdays and Sundays, and $7 per person for the Teen Skate, this exhilarating winter activity is anything but pricey, especially with no skate rental fees.
Birthday party packages are available ranging anywhere from $125 – $400 depending on how big and extravagant the party is.
Patrons can skate to their heart’s desire at any of these scheduled programs. And, hunger will not be an issue as the ‘Grille’ offers the customary concession stand food
