During her 4th Hour ALARP 1 class, language arts teacher Jenny Ingram instructs at the front of the room. Ingram is one of five language arts teachers leaving at the end of this year, and is one of eight teachers who have put in their resignation this school year.

Before a lacrosse game, seniors Sierra Sachtleben and Olivia Williams wear their floaties. In water wars, floaties and goggles can be worn as protection. When a senior is wearing one of those items properly, they cant get out.

Coming 1st place tournament of freestyle wrestling, freshman Owen Hardy said he enjoys this style of wrestling. Hardy was part of the Lafayette wrestling team, which compete in folkstyle wrestling. Im doing freestyle to stay in shape, and its pretty fun. Hardy said.

Boys track wins at Conference, volleyball begins playoff run
After a hit, senior Will Gebhart flips his bat in celebration. This game was against the Parkway West Longhorns, which the Lancers lost 6-5. Gebhart had 2 runs in the defeat.

Sophomore Chase Roeder hits against Lindbergh on April 17. The Lancers won the game 2-1.

Junior Conner McCown putts during the Webster Cup Invitational tournament. McCown placed 13th with a round of 77.

At Barnes & Noble, senior Vedika Kumar participated in Blind Date with a Book. During this event, books are wrapped in paper with descriptive words that give a hint about the novel, and individuals are free to choose which one they want to buy.

After finishing their tests in history teacher Steve Klawiters class, students can participate in an optional trivia section. While Klawiter usually doesnt offer rewards for the highest score on the trivia section, it offers a way for students to decompress after unit tests.
History teacher provides de-stressing activities to students
Freshman Emi Limon competes in the 2022 World Kickboxing and Karate Union Championship in Wales. Even though Limon has only been doing karate for three years, he won four medals at the October competition— a gold medals in Weapons with Music and Korean Forms, a silver medal in Hardstyle Forms and a bronze medal in Weapons with no Music.

Located in The District, an entertainment hub in Chesterfield along Highway 40, Game Show Battle Rooms offers two different packages for customers to play in their studio. Host Drew Cusumano, a 2016 LHS grad, prefers the Classic Games, which are based on games often played on television shows.

While volunteering at Anthology Senior Living in Town Center, sophomore Sakhi Lal with her sophomore team members Christina Boniface and Michelle Chen play Halloween Bingo with the elders. Lal said that the reason she started her nonprofit organization, Serving the Seniors (STS), is because she used to volunteer in senior homes and saw how much support they needed. “I used to volunteer at Anthology of Town and Country and I realized that the residents need a lot of support financially. Theyre pretty sad and depressed there and they feel really trapped. That really got to my heart and I want to get as many people to volunteer at these senior homes to help these elderly people to where they dont feel alone and they feel like they have someone that is there to support them,” Lal said.

According to girlscouts.org, in the 1950s, when the Girl Scout Cookies began to rise in popularity, there were three different varieties of cookies to choose from: A shortbread cookie, a sandwich cookie and the infamous Thin Mints cookie. The shortbread and sandwich cookies were originally just available in chocolate and vanilla, however, the flavors evolved and by the 1970s, their standard cookies became Thin Mints, Do-si-dos, Trefoils and Samoas which are still around today.
