Girls softball looks to improve from last season
After finishing last season with a 7-9 record, girls softball is looking to improve in the 2017 season.
Four year varsity player and senior, Megan Walker, is eager for the upcoming season.
“I expect us to do better than last year and for the team dynamic to be better,” Walker said.
Head Coach Scott DeNoyer brought freshmen Kathryn Flowers and Landee Wasson up to varsity. Walker has high expectations for the freshmen.
“I expect a lot more this year than last year because we have two freshmen coming up,” Walker said, “I think they will really help us in the long run.”
Girls softball’s first game is Aug. 23 at 4:15 at Fort Zumwalt South.
