AFJROTC participates in H2O for Troops campaign
As an effort to support our troops for Valentine’s Day, Lambert International Airport hosts a campaign to collect packs of bottled water to donate to the USO.
The USO is a non-profit organization that supplies entertainment and relaxation for the United States military troops while they are traveling.
Aerospace Science Instructor Dave Cugier and the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer’s Corps (AFJROTC) are organizing Lafayette’s involvement with the campaign.
To become involved with the campaign, bring as small as a 12-count pack to as large as a 36-count pack of bottled water to any classroom, which will be then collected by cadets, or bring them directly to Room 162.
Lafayette will be collecting the donations from Feb. 5 to Feb. 13 and will then be collected by USO officials.
Your donation will allow our student journalists to continue their work. You may become a PATRON by making a donation at one of these levels: White/$30, Black/$50, Gold/$100. Patron names will be published on the website and once per quarter on our social media accounts.
