Long overdue, the Lafayette parking lot underwent a complete makeover this past summer. Improvements to the parking lot were just one of the $23 million worth of projects the district conducted this past summer, done through Prop 3 funding.

After recieving senior quarterback Brady Micek's pass, senior wide receiver Tim Washington runs the ball into the end zone on the first play of the game. Lafayette defeated Lindbergh, 54-14, on senior night Friday Oct. 17.

To avoid a sack, senior quarterback Brady Micek rushes out of the pocket, making a positive play. Micek led Lafayette to win over rivals Eureka in the Battle of 109 with his 241 passing yards and 80 rushing yards.

"I love student publications because I am passionate about writing and journalism. I like journalism because it allows me to see different perspectives," Thomas said.

The newest member on newspaper, senior Zach Diethelm, has just started his journey with the Lancer Feed but is already making strides in the publication. "I love student publications because the people are friendly, and it's a very fun, hands-on learning experience. I have liked learning writing, interviewing and research skills as part of the process," Diethelm said.

Marketplace Craft Fair raises money for band, raises awareness for non-profits

Community members browse items for sale during the Marketplace Craft Fair, from many available vendors.

On December 7th, the Lafayette Band Booster hosted their annual Marketplace Craft Fair to help raise money for the LHS bands. They sold over 160 vendors space to sell goods and promote their businesses. There were also non-profits at the craft fair selling goods to collect money and awareness for their cause.
