Long overdue, the Lafayette parking lot underwent a complete makeover this past summer. Improvements to the parking lot were just one of the $23 million worth of projects the district conducted this past summer, done through Prop 3 funding.

To avoid a sack, senior quarterback Brady Micek rushes out of the pocket, making a positive play. Micek led Lafayette to win over rivals Eureka in the Battle of 109 with his 241 passing yards and 80 rushing yards.

The newest member on newspaper, senior Zach Diethelm, has just started his journey with the Lancer Feed but is already making strides in the publication. "I love student publications because the people are friendly, and it's a very fun, hands-on learning experience. I have liked learning writing, interviewing and research skills as part of the process," Diethelm said.

Local composter helps grow the composting community through her buisness MOshrooms

Before it is ready delivered to a house in the community, the MOshrooms bucket is cleaned and prepared to be filled with compost.

In April 2020, Danielle Meert started her composting business MOshrooms. MOshrooms is dedicated to helping the local Parkway and Rockwood community start composting, Meert then collects the compost and uses it to grow fruits and vegetables that she sells to her customers.
