The Last Time I… Played a Video Game

Video games are all the rage for teenagers, played around the world nonstop. For Diego Fontan, junior, video games are a giant part of his life. The last time he played a video game, it was the game Fallout 4.

“It is a game where you choose to save people, kill mutants, and try to find your son,” Fontan said.

Fontan learns many things in this game, considering it teaches people how to survive and pushing themselves to reach their goal. He learns how to build survival skills and he tries to make moral choices, so he doesn’t have to become someone who makes bad decisions in the game.

Although, it is not real life, it becomes very crucial in what players have to do in order to win the game. Fontan has struggled with that in the past. Luckily for him, if someone loses a life in Fall Out 4, they get reloaded so they can continue on their journey to find their son.

“It’s a single-player game so you have to get through the obstacles on your own. I got hit by a nuke and I died. It was frustrating at first but I got reloaded, so it turned out alright,” Fontan said.
