The Last Time I… went to a restaurant

The last time senior Claire Moore went to a restaurant  was to celebrate her mother’s birthday.

“I went there for my mom’s birthday. I picked my mom up after work and took her to Noodles and Company, her favorite place to eat,” Moore said.

Little did she know that the night would be much more eventful than a simple celebration. Before they could reach their destination a car ran a red light, cutting in front of the Moore’s vehicle.  Luckily, Claire reacted quickly, preventing a collision.

“A car didn’t see us coming… it ran a red light,” Moore said. Nobody was harmed in the near-accident.

The rest of the night went quite smoothly. Moore got her favorite dish, the Bangkok Curry, while her mother enjoyed Penne Rosa. The dinner was pleasant and full of laughter.

The Moore family is very cost efficient. Claire’s father, Jerry Moore, had a coupon for a free macaroni and cheese, which Moore’s sister ate.

Despite the potential fiasco, the last time Moore went out to eat was a night of celebration, filled with staccato bursts of jokes, bonding, and fond memories.
