Humans of Lafayette: James Cox
“Last summer my dad and I rode our bikes to Colorado while my mom and brother drove our support vehicle. It took 10 days and was about 1,000 miles. While preparing in the spring, I stressed about everything that could go wrong, but the trip turned out to be pretty easy. It was basically flat until we reached the Rockies. Western Kansas was the most boring part of the ride and my brother played games with me from the car to help pass the time. We’d spend hours just making weird faces at each other and singing music. I also had some pretty gnarly tan lines by the time we reached Colorado.” -James Fox, 12
