Boys soccer looks to find last season’s magic
August 23, 2016
After making a tremendous run at State last year with a 23-1-1 record, this year’s boys soccer team has a lot to live up to. With that in mind, they made a fantastic start to this season with two wins this past Friday and Saturday over Farmington and Pacific respectively.
When asked about living up to last year’s team senior Jarid Morton said, “I’m glad that we could get these two wins out of the gate. Obviously last year’s team was exceedingly good, so these wins will help us build confidence and hopefully we will end up in the same situation come playoff time.”
With a couple of wins under their belt, this year’s boys soccer squad seems poised to make another run into the State playoffs. Keep an eye out for this team as they progress into the season, they could do big things and make a lot of noise.
