On the last play of the first quarter, senior quarterback Brady Micek threw a short pass to senior wide receiver Tim Washington, who broke multiple tackles and broke free to score a 61-yard touchdown.
This was the fifth touchdown Lafayette scored just in the first quarter, as they went on to win 55-0, against Parkway Central, on the Colt’s homecoming game, Sept. 19, 2025.

The Lancer offense started off quick, as senior wide receiver Zach Toben caught a 51-yard touchdown, less than two minutes into the game. They went on to score five touchdowns in the first quarter and eight touchdowns overall in the game.
Along with Toben and Washington’s touchdowns, the Lafayette offense made multiple big plays, including senior wide receiver Terance Bills one-handed grab for a 29-yard touchdown and a 97-yard rushing touchdown by junior running back Chris Patrick.
Along with the strong offensive performance, the Lancer defense showed up, forcing their third shutout of the season. Throughout the game, Lafayette got multiple pressures on Parkway Central’s quarterback and stuffed the run.
“We know they like to run the ball, so we loaded the box. Our goal was zero points tonight, and we executed that well,” Coach Curt Mueller said.
Despite the big win, Mueller believes that the team still has a few things they need to work on.
“Some tackling issues on defense, and some execution issues on offense. Just stuff that we can control and get a lot better, we will continue to work on them,” Mueller said.
Lafayette’s (4-0) next game against Pattonville (2-2) will be the Lancer’s homecoming game, as they look to remain undefeated. In last years matchup, Lafayette won 47-7.
