Fox downs Lady Lancers 48-43

Last Friday, the Lady Lancer basketball team squared off against the 16-8 Fox Warriors.

Compiling a season record of 11-13 this season, the Lancers have been very streaky. Unfortunately, the 3-game losing streak extended to 4 after a tough loss against the Warriors.

Averaging 12.9 ppg this season, junior Hannah Finley had a strong effort, but just couldn’t get the job done against the dominating Warriors. Erin Birschbach, Fox’s most versatile weapon,  played a very strong game. It always hurts when you lose on Senior Night to say the least, especially in such a tight-knit game.

Looking to snap the 4 game losing streak, the Lancers play the 15-8 Hazelwood Central Hawks Feb 20 at home. Tip-off is at 5:30.
