Boys basketball Head Coach Bryan Keim has resigned from Lafayette and will work as the Activities Director at Francis Howell Central High School.
“I have really enjoyed my time here at Lafayette, I was given an opportunity that I couldn’t pass up. I’ve been wanting to be an Activities Director for a while now and Francis Howell Central is giving me the opportunity to pursue that endeavor,” Keim said.
Keim will also miss coaching the Lafayette boys basketball team.
“I will miss the competition for sure. Most importantly the relationships that are created and sustained with players and coaches. I will still have the opportunities to build those at my new job, but from a different perspective,” Keim said.
Although his time as a Lancer was short, Keim says he will miss Lafayette.
“Three years isn’t a lot of time for a coach, but I will never forget my time here. I will be watching the team from afar and hoping they win every game, except when they play the Spartans of course,” Keim said
For the boys basketball 2024-2025 season, there will be a new head coach to fill Keim’s spot. Lafayette admin are still in the process of hiring a new coach.
