Lancers helping Lancers provides decompressing activities
Just in time for finals week, Destress Day will be held in the library Friday, Dec. 15, after school to help all students manage their stress by multiple activities.
Lancers helping Lancers (LHL) has organized coloring activities, crafts, mindfulness and yoga, therapy dogs and snacks donated by LHL members. They will also collaborate with the Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) to help students relax and blow off some steam before finals begin.
Steve Klawiter, social studies, and Denise Meyer, physical education, are the group’s sponsors.
“Providing a way for students them (students) to decompress before finals will hopefully encourage future healthy behavior and provide ways for them to manage stress in future situations,” senior Alyssa Hahn said.
Your donation will allow our student journalists to continue their work. You may become a PATRON by making a donation at one of these levels: White/$30, Black/$50, Gold/$100. Patron names will be published on the website and once per quarter on our social media accounts.
