With the holiday season fully underway, many find that “giving” feeling to be in the air. This couldn’t be more true for Class of 2010 grad Trevor Mulholland.
The Southeast Missouri State University freshman is currently leading “Operation Kiddos” through the Boys and Girls Club of Cape Girardeau, MO. Along with the help from 2010 grad Maddi Enzmann, Mulholland is trying to raise funds to give The Boys and Girls Club of Cape Girardeau an adequate building for the Pepsi Refresh Project.
Mulholland said, “I’m working on a project right now to get the Boys & Girls Club of Cape Girardeau a new building of their own. I know this is out of your coverage area but we are just looking to get this out there to get some votes. They are currently housed in a donated building in the Cape County School System Campus. We are submitted in the Pepsi Refresh Project for December. We’re looking to win the $250,000 grant to purchase a new building, renovate and pay bills.”
The Pepsi Refresh Project voting begins on Dec. 15 at midnight and will end on Dec. 31 at 11:59 p.m. Mulholland also added, “On top of the Pepsi Refresh Project, we hope to raise $25,000 to help expand the Boys & Girls Clubs program to allow more kids the opportunity to be a part of the Boys & Girls Club.”
Mulholland also said there are multiple ways to contact Enzmann or himself with questions concerning the cause. He said, “Find us on Facebook. Search for Boys & Girls Club of Cape Girardeau- Operation Kiddos. On Twitter @OperationKiddos. Or with questions go to [email protected].”
So to cast your vote for this cause only included a few steps, Mulholland explained, “Visit www.refresheverything.com/operationkiddos to vote. You can vote once daily per registered account. Registration takes only seconds.”
