Lafayette has reintroduced the Spirit Wear web store to students and faculty on Oct. 10. The Lafayette web store is a special online website that allows the Lafayette community to choose from various school clothing items with a wide variety of colors and sizes. The items will be shipped directly to an address only after the close date, not the purchase date.

The heavy demand for school spirit wear lead to the reopening of the web store. This year, Lizzie Oscarson coordinated with Johnny Macs to implement many new features for the web store. This time, many of the clothing items  will fit with the upcoming cold weather season. Below is a list of the items.

-Nike short and long sleeve t-shirts

-Shorts and Sweatpants

-Half and quarter zip jackets

-Ladies long sleeve football T-shirt

-Beanies

-Men’s Gung Ho t-shirts

“The web store is unique to Lafayette this year as it is the first time branded sports gear is being offered to the entire Lafayette community which appeals to those customers who prefer to see the Nike or Under Armour Label on their sports gear,” Oscarson said.

Later on in the year, Oscarson hopes to include student input on designs for Lafayette logo on spirit wear for the 2015-2016 school year.

“The web store enables us to offer so many more options to the students here so that they can find something that they are proud to wear,” Oscarson said.

The spirit wear web store is a great place to buy school clothing and will be available until Nov. 3. The page of the website can be found at https://lafayettespiritwear2.itemorder.com.
