It is the season of love, what are your big plans for February 14? In St. Louis, there are many local restaurants that will set scene for romance without breaking the bank.
Located in Chesterfield valley, Babbo’s Spaghetteria provides a smaller, intimate setting for date night. Menu items include seafood, pastas and fresh salads that are reasonably priced. This Italian eatery may be more on the casual side, but will be a perfect spot for a Valentine’s Day dinner.
Every night is a pizza night, so Pi Pizzeria on Clayton Rd. can be the ideal romantic restaurant for those pizza lovers out there. Ranging from simple cheese to the famous “Delmar” pizza and deep dish to thin crust, Pi will never disappoint.
Canyon Cafe located in the Frontenac Plaza serves consistently delicious high end Mexican food in a clean, romantic setting. As the meal ends with a white chocolate tamale, Canyon Cafe will surely knock your socks off.
If you head down Interstate-44, a little bistro called Cyrano’s Cafe sits in the heart of downtown Webster Groves. Not only do they serve decadent entree dishes, but they are famous for their desserts and specialty coffee menu. If you and your date want to end the night with something sweet, stop in to Cyrano’s for the Cherries Jubilee of Banana Foster.
For a more casual and fun atmosphere on Valentine’s Day, join the party at Circle 7 Ranch in Ballwin. This exciting and delicious restaurant serves reasonably priced specialty burgers, wings and salads, but for dessert, the brownies and peach cobbler will satisfy your sweet tooth.
