Registration for Rockwood’s Summer Academy will open on March 6. Classes will be held at Lafayette, as well as Rockwood Summit.

Students can enroll in Summer Academy classes for multiple reasons. The program allows students to take classes like Art Fundamentals, Personal Finance and Business, Personal Fitness and Wellness and Health. Additionally, credit recovery courses are offered for students who did not receive a passing grade in a class they took the previous year.

Forms for the program will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Summer Academy operates between June 3 and June 28 during the week days. Students have the choice of a morning session, which takes place 8:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., or a midday session, which takes place 11:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

Registration forms can be obtained at the guidance counselor’s office.
