Two other members of the wrestling program were honored at the close of the season. Assistant Coach Adam Hicks was named Missouri Wrestling Association’s Class 4 Assistant Coach of the Year and Class 4, District 4 Assistant Coach of the Year.

Head Coach Jon Sumner was also recognized as he was named the Class 4, District 4 Head Coach of the Year.

The recipients are selected by the coaches in the District.

These awards follow Lafayette’s successful season which led to their first State plaque in 23 years as they finished fourth as a team.
