The Lancers kicked off their week against the Jr. Billikens on Nov. 29. The game was ended in a 3-3 tie with two goals scored by senior Shane Robinson and one goal by sophomore Alexander Schmitt. Senior Nathaniel Orf said he was proud of the way the team played against the Billikens and believes it helped boost their confidence. “It was a big tie for the team because morale was pretty low after the previous two losses and I’m really proud of the team for stepping up,” he said. On. Dec. 4, the Lancers took a tough 6-1 loss against the Fort Zumwalt West Jaguars. Despite that, Orf believes the team is on an upward trend. “Even though we need to work more on positioning and passing, the team chemistry is really high,” Orf said. “We still have a lot of room for improvement and I’m excited to see the team evolve over the season.” The Lancers next game will be at Affton Rink against Vianney on Dec. 10 at 8:20 p.m.
