The second annual Lafayette High School Community Volleyball Challenge will be held on Fri. April 7.

Volleyball teams will be made up of teachers, administration and staff from all of the elementary, middle and high schools in the Lafayette community. For the second year in a row, the school’s will be competing for the championship trophy.

According to Principal John Shaughnessy, the schools that will be competing are: Pond Elementary, Green Pines Elementary, Ellisville Elementary, Chesterfield Elementary, Babler Elementary, Rockwood Valley Middle School, Crestview Middle School, Wildwood Middle School and Lafayette High School.

“The purpose of [the Volleyball Championship] is to unite the schools in a fun way,” Steve Berry, Activities Director said.

This will be held at Lafayette from 5-8:30 p.m. There is no cost to enter but concessions will be sold.
