Derek Schreiner, freshman, was given five questions about baseball and his thoughts on MLB teams.

Q: What is your favorite part about playing baseball for Lafayette?

Schreiner: “I enjoy hanging out with my teammates.”

Q: What are you looking forward to about this upcoming baseball season?

Schreiner: “I’m looking forward to beating both Eureka and Marquette.”

Q: What is your least favorite Major League Baseball Team?

Schreiner: “The Chicago Cubs.”

Q: What do you hate most about the Cubs?

Schreiner: “That they hit Stephen Piscotty three times in one at bat.”

Q: If you could deliver a message to every Cubs fan, what would it be?

Schreiner: “Remember, it was 108 years.”
