The annual Coffee House performance will be held in the Commons on Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. The event is organized each year by guitar teacher Traci Bolton.

“We try to emulate that coffee house setting by having all acoustic performances,” Bolton said.

All musicians, whether they be vocal or instrumental, are encouraged to audition. Poets are also welcome to perform at the event.

Rayvon Lovelace, senior, is one of those who performed at last year’s Coffee House. He performed his own original song “Pride” last year, and plans to audition again this year.

“Going up on stage and performing in front of everybody is scary, but you just get into it,” Lovelace said.

Tuesday Night Rock Band will be included in the event’s set list. Auditions were held on Mon. Oct. 29 to prepare for the Nov. 7 performance.

The admission for the event is $5 at the door.
