On the stage at lunch on Tuesday, Sept. 25, Student Council Dance Chair Nicole Lawson lathers shaving cream on senior Michael Graves' face to prepare for the cheese ball toss class competition. The seniors won the class competitions after a tie-breaker at the Pep Assembly on Friday. "Being on the stage all week is kind of stressful because everyone is watching. I was very nervous about getting shaving cream on anyone's shirt, but that game was a fun one because the girls and guys [from each grade level] were competing as a team," Lawson said.

The Tuesday’s theme for the homecoming week was “We Come in Peace” Hippies day. Students chose different outfits to recreate the hippies from the 60s to Lafayette in 2018.
